Job summary

Axium Healthcare Pharmacy, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Facilities Clerk to handle shipping/receiving and light building maintenance. You will work with courier services to package costly medications accurately, reduce waste, and improve processes.

You’ll also perform routine facility tasks and support event planning and logistics to keep operations smooth. The role requires a high school diploma; trade certification helps.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; trade school certification preferred.
• Healthcare background preferred but not required.
• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving responsibilities, including accurate packing of medications for patient shipments.
• Interface with drivers and customer service representatives from third-party couriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS).
• Ensure that shipping information is correct, labels are printed, and addresses verified.
• Maintain and inspect facility, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems as needed.
• Assist with event planning, logistics, and purchasing of furniture/equipment.
• Complete reports and records to ensure facilities tickets are completed timely and satisfactorily.
• Ensure prescriptions are packaged appropriately and shipped through the correct vendor and method.
• Assist in purchasing when needed and maintain adherence to policies and safety standards.
