Job summary
TPI Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Sugar Land, TX to oversee daily shipping operations and ensure accurate order processing. The role requires strong communication, shipping/receiving experience, and excellent attention to detail.
The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with pay in the $16.00–$20.00/hour range depending on experience. Safety procedures and ERP/shipping software familiarity are a plus.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Experience with ERP or shipping software is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities and schedule outbound shipments.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Verify orders for accuracy before shipment.
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and enter data into company systems.
- Monitor inventory and assist with shipping and receiving operations.
- Follow company safety procedures and shipping guidelines.
