AMS Fulfillment is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage daily B2B order shipping, verify documents and packaging, and assist the Shipping Lead. The role emphasizes accuracy, safe handling, and cross‑department collaboration.

Requirements include a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. This on‑site position offers daytime shifts in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping, logistics and/or warehouse experience is a plus.
• On-site presence with reliable attendance.
• Able to learn and perform essential functions of the role.
• Good verbal, reading and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently with urgency and follow-through.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and accurate.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive duties.
• Interact well with all departments; teamwork is essential.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and internal software systems.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 35 lbs.
• Willingness to become forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Scan and photograph each order/pallet and verify shipping label accuracy.
• Perform final review of each order's QA form for completeness.
• Verify shipping details (PO#, BOL#, store) match logs and instructions.
• Identify Hazmat/Non-Hazmat shipments and ensure proper documentation.
• Place orders in staging locations per SOPs.
• Daily carrier pickup confirmations before end of shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping area.
• Maintain daily shipping log and carrier check-in/out records.
• Follow AMS SOPs and guidelines.
• Collaborate with teammates to promote cooperation and respect.
