Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support daily operations, input materials, cycle counts, and prepare shipments. You will coordinate truck traffic and ensure secure loading and unloading.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and be able to operate forklift and basic computer programs. Experience with SAP or QAD is a plus; OSHA rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Input incoming materials into the computer system.
• Cycle count as required and investigate discrepancies.
• Keeps shipping/receiving and office areas safe, neat, and orderly; performs other duties as needed.
• Completes all related paperwork including Bills of Lading, barcode labels, and reports.
• Understanding of advanced shipping notices as required from customers.
• Assists in preparation of shipments, receipts, and material control activities.
• Advises supervisor of any irregularities in day-to-day operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To assist the Materials Group with the day to day operation of shipping and receiving materials and products and completion of related paperwork. Coordinate truck traffic in and out of the facility and the related security along with loading and unloading trucks when needed.

• Cycle count as required and investigate discrepancies as required
• Keeps shipping / receiving and the office area safe, neat, clean and orderly plus perform other duties as required.
• Completes all related paperwork including, but not limited to typing of Bills of Lading, printing bar code labels and all miscellaneous documents and reports as needed.
• U nderstanding of advanced shipping notices, etc. as required from customers.
• Assists in preparation of shipments, receipts, and material control activities.
• Advises supervisor of any irregularities in the day to day operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation in accordance with quality and quantity standards and to perform the physical, mental, and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner.

Highschool Diploma or GED.

Must be a minimum of 18 years old to be employed in manufacturing enviroment per OSHA requirements.

Requires accuracy and the ability to use basic computer programs.

Must be qualified to use a forklift and other material handling equipment.

NOTE: Testing will be conducted to assess computer and mathematical skills, along with an interview.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Shipping experience preferred and the ablity to maneuver in the QAD / SAP or other material control system.

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $19.94 – $23.53 hourly. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
