Modine Manufacturing Company (US) in Kansas City area is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate. You will assist the Materials Group with daily shipping, receiving, and related paperwork, and coordinate truck movement and loading/unloading to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, accuracy with basic computer skills, and forklift experience. OSHA 18+ work age and tests may be conducted. Competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Materials Group with daily shipping/receiving and related paperwork.
• Coordinate truck traffic in and out and related security with loading/unloading.
• Input incoming materials into the computer system.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Keep shipping/receiving area safe, neat, and orderly; complete required documents.
• Understand advanced shipping notices from customers.
• Assist in shipments, receipts, and material control activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist the Materials Group with the day to day operation of shipping and receiving materials and products and completion of related paperwork. Coordinate truck traffic in and out of the facility and the related security along with loading and unloading trucks when needed.
• Input incoming materials into the computer system.
• Cycle count as required and investigate discrepancies as required
• Keeps shipping / receiving and the office area safe, neat, clean and orderly plus perform other duties as required.
• Completes all related paperwork including, but not limited to typing of Bills of Lading, printing bar code labels and all miscellaneous documents and reports as needed.
• U nderstanding of advanced shipping notices, etc. as required from customers.
• Assists in preparation of shipments, receipts, and material control activities.
• Advises supervisor of any irregularities in the day to day operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be qualified to perform the duties of the occupation in accordance with quality and quantity standards and to perform the physical, mental, and visual requirements of the job in a safe and efficient manner.

Highschool Diploma or GED.

Must be a minimum of 18 years old to be employed in manufacturing enviroment per OSHA requirements.

Requires accuracy and the ability to use basic computer programs.

Must be qualified to use a forklift and other material handling equipment.

NOTE: Testing will be conducted to assess computer and mathematical skills, along with an interview.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Shipping experience preferred and the ablity to maneuver in the QAD / SAP or other material control system.

The salary range for this position is estimated in good faith to be $19.94 – $23.53 hourly. The specific offer will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related considerations but will be within the stated range.
