Shipping Coordinator
Location: South Deerfield, MA

What You’ll Do
- Actively support and comply with Pelican’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
- Interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Complete assignments within required timelines.
- Be flexible regarding working hours and overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Operate in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Perform repetitive hand and wrist activity.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- 2+ years of shipping or logistics experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, inventory processes, and picking/packing procedures.
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to operate a stand‑up forklift or willingness to become certified.
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience with domestic and international shipping is a plus.
- Understanding of customs requirements, Lean, Six Sigma, or ISO environments is a plus.
- Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4:30pm Eastern Time.

Compensation & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is part of the total compensation package and is determined within a range. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, 10 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, company‑paid life and disability plans, and matching 401(k) to eligible employees.
