Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support accurate and timely delivery.

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance.

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area.
• Follow established safety procedures and applicable shipping requirements.

Shipping Coordinator, 1st Shift

Pay Range: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

Kilian Manufacturing is seeking an organized and dependable Shipping Coordinator to join our first-shift Shipping Team. In this role, you will help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure products move efficiently and accurately from our facility to our customers.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position works closely with carriers, suppliers, warehouse employees, and other internal teams to support timely shipments, accurate documentation, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to support accurate and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• At least two years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or related coordination experience preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.


• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipping and logistics issues.


• Microsoft Office and general computer proficiency.


• Experience with UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping software preferred.


• SAP system experience preferred.


• Forklift experience preferred.


• Ability to work effectively with employees across multiple departments.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.


• Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.


• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to safely maneuver oversized or heavy materials and equipment.


• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled.


• Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other workplace technology as needed.
