Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an SAP-enabled Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans and schedules at our onsite facilities. You will coordinate with supervisors, buyers, and operations to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.

The role requires experience with SAP, production planning principles, and strong communication skills to collaborate across Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, and Sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
  • 3-5 years minimum manufacturing experience.
  • Experience as Buyer/planner in manufacturing using SAP.
  • Strong understanding of production planning concepts, scheduling techniques, and inventory management within SAP.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize SAP functionalities to develop production plans and schedules that optimize resource utilization and meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Analyze production capacity and constraints within SAP to balance workload and adjust schedules as necessary.
  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules within SAP based on the established production plans.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule.
  • Host daily production meetings with Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, and Sales to identify challenges and solutions to meet customer order fulfillment dates.
  • Identify alternate solutions to meet customer want date and/or original confirm date.
  • Report and escalate potential and existing late customer deliveries.
  • Monitor production progress within SAP and address bottlenecks or delays.
  • Communicate schedule changes and updates within SAP to stakeholders including operations, procurement, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with materials management to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Maintain accurate production records in SAP and analyze data for improvements.
  • Lead High Risk process for identified orders from release to shipment.

This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.



Schedule

Mon – Fri (8:00 – 5:00 pm)



Expected Base Salary Range

[$65,000 – $75,000] The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.



Responsibilities


  • Utilize SAP functionalities to develop production plans and schedules that optimize resource utilization and meet customer delivery expectations.

  • Analyze production capacity and constraints within SAP to balance workload and adjust schedules as necessary.

  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules within SAP based on the established production plans.

  • Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule.

  • Hosts daily production meetings with Purchasing, Materials, Manufacturing, and sales to identify challenges and solutions to meet customer order fulfillment dates.

  • Identifies alternate solutions to meet customer want date and/or original confirm date.

  • Reports and escalates potential and existing late customer deliveries.

  • Monitor production progress within SAP and identify potential bottlenecks or delays, taking proactive measures to address them.

  • Communicate schedule changes and updates within SAP to relevant stakeholders, including the operations team, procurement, and customer service.

  • Collaborate with the materials management team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and supplies for production.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records within SAP, including production schedules, material requirements, and production performance metrics.

  • Utilize SAP's reporting capabilities to analyze production data and identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance efficiency.

  • Hosts and leads High Risk process for identified orders and ensures order completion from release to shipment.



Qualifications


  • Preferred but not required - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.

  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably planning or 3-5 years minimum relevant manufacturing experience.

  • Experience as a Buyer/planner in a manufacturing environment, utilizing SAP as the primary ERP system.

  • Strong understanding of production planning principles, scheduling techniques, and inventory management within SAP.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytic skills, a high degree of Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.

  • Good organizational skills and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Understanding of concepts in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.

  • Self‑starter with a strong sense of urgency.
