Job summary

Allentown LLC is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Allentown, NJ to quote freight, create and confirm shipments, and maintain shipment documentation. You will work with warehousing, sales, and purchasing to expedite outbound freight, coordinating loading for full or dedicated trucks.

The role requires forklift knowledge or willingness to learn, ability to lift 65 lbs, and proficiency with shipping software and ERP systems. Strong safety and customer-service focus are essential.

Qualifications

Must be able to operate a computer and other office machines.
Forklift operation willingness to learn.
Ability to drive a 26’ non CDL Box Truck.
Lift 65 lbs and pack shipments per regulations.
Process parcel shipments via FedEx & UPS software.
HazMat certified or willing to train.
Strong problem solving and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Quote freight to Sales Team via Priority1 Portal (TMS).
Create and confirm shipments via Acumatica ERP.
Maintain photo library of shipments.
Expedite shipments with Warehousing, Sales and Purchasing.
Coordinate loading of outbound freight (full/dedicated trucks).

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Must be able to operate a computer and other office machines such as a copier, printer, and camera.
Ability to operate a forklift / willing to learn
Must be able to drive a 26’ non CDL Box Truck
Ability to lift and transport 65 lbs
Pack shipments in accordance with company regulations and client standards.
Process Parcel Shipments via FedEx & UPS Software
HazMat certified / willing to participate in training to become certified
Analyze problems that may arise and recommend solutions.
Follows all safety rules and quality standards including all company policies and procedures
Performs job assignments in a safe and productive manner while maintaining high quality levels.
Other duties as assigned.
High level of professionalism accompanied with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must have excellent time management skills, being able to prioritize multiple priorities at one time.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Must be able to sit or stand for periods of time.
