Job description

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour. This position is onsite at our Indianapolis, IN location. FreshRealm is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk whose responsibilities include ensuring a safe and efficient environment at all times while driving an error-free customer order processing process, which includes staging, fulfillment, order allocation, loading, and label & documentation accuracy while following FreshRealm Policies and Procedures which include Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety, Quality, and Food Safety Systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for scheduling all delivery appointments for freight being delivered to the building; inbound calls only
2. Ensuring load accuracy at checkout by physically counting
3. Maintaining/filing required records
4. Entering information into an excel spreadsheet
5. Checking drivers in and out of the facility
6. Contacting Purchasing for any discrepancies with quantities of freight being delivered
7. Any other duties assigned

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

1. Ability to work well with customers
2. Basic computer skills
3. Ability to work with minimal supervision
4. Flexible availability. Will work either 1st or 2nd Shift, including some weekends
5. Must be willing and able to work in a refrigerated environment (10°-40°)

Experience / Education

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. 6+ months experience in manufacturing environment preferred

Working Conditions:

Work is primarily conducted in the office and food production environment. This position may require night, holiday and/or weekend work.

Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
