Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is hiring a Shipping Clerk for a metal fabrication shop in Ringgold, GA. You will handle incoming/outgoing shipments, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain proper packaging for safe transit. This full-time position is temporary to hire with a steady schedule.

Pay is $18.00 per hour, with a 6:00am–4:30pm schedule Monday–Thursday and overtime on Fridays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus 401(k) matching and bonus

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a warehouse or manufacturing role.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and perform measurement checks.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Use shipping software and spreadsheets to track products.

SHIPPING CLERK – METAL FABRICATION SHOP

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Shipping Clerk – Metal Fabrication Shop for a metal fabrication shop in Ringgold, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate inventory records, proper packaging, and timely delivery.

This is a full–time temporary to hire position.

Pay rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours: 6:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, overtime Fridays.

Shipping Clerk – Metal Fabrication Shop Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack, seal, and label custom sheet metal parts for safe transit.
• Use shipping software, email, and simple spreadsheets to track all product.
• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material using computer system and spreadsheets
• Assist with inventory tracking of material received and stored
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy stacks of metal

Shipping Clerk – – Metal Fabrication Shop Qualifications and Requirements

• 1 to 3 years in a warehouse or manufacturing role
• Solid computer knowledge for data entry and inventory
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 th (tape measure test will be administered)
• Forklift experience is required
• Lift 50lbs throughout workday (in office assessment will be conducted)
