Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to prepare and package parts for safe transit via common carriers. You will receive, stock, maintain inventory, verify part stamps, and assist with loading/unloading trucks while performing quality checks.

On-the-job training is provided. The role offers steady hours with overtime as needed and an hourly pay range of $18.00–$20.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package parts for safe transit via common carriers.

• Package and prepare parts for jobs; confirm quantity is correct.
• On-the-job training will be provided for this position.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by the department manager.

Job Summary

We are looking for a SHIPPING Clerk who will be responsible for the preparation and packaging of parts for safe transit via common carrier.

Job Requirements

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
• Receive, stock, and maintain inventory.
• Verify that parts are stamped according to customer requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in the loading and unloading of the truck, as well as performing Quality Assurance checks.
• Package and prepare parts for jobs accordingly.
• Confirm quantity of parts is correct.
• On-the-job training will be provided for this position.
• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

Compensation:

$18.00 - $20.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
