SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Warehouse Associate III, Level 3, is an advanced individual contributor role responsible for the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, WMS/ERP usage, and inventory management. As a senior team member, this role requires proficiency in operating all material handling equipment, championing safety first behaviors, conducting inventory audits, daily cycle counting, JDE MRP location updates, scheduling, monitoring, and shipping outbound orders, and training of lower-level associates. The Warehouse Associate, Level 3, manages receiving and shipping operations including inbound shipment movements from receiving docks to designated respective storage racks using advanced material handling equipment, and MSDS verification; auditing, scheduling, monitoring, and shipping outbound customer orders. This role serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Level 1 and Level 2 warehouse functions, maintaining advanced proficiency in each area. Supports departmental and business continuity needs by performing Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities as required.

REPORTING TO: Warehouse Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs advanced level warehouse operations: Inventory Accuracy : Execute Daily Cycle Counts (e.g., Random Cycle Counting Method) to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Reconciliation : Investigate inventory discrepancies found during counts, reconcile discrepancies in JDE (adjustments/transfers), and perform necessary root cause countermeasures (RCCM).
  • Shipment processing in JDE\MRP operating environments including routing, label printing and confirmation for complicated customer specific shipments.
  • Order reconciliation, printing, prepping, distribution, scanning and problem-solving.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration through email, messaging and in person communication with a focus on urgency and customer-first mentality.
Receiving Operations Inbound Logistics:
  • Receive materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders (PO) and packing lists.
Put-away:
  • Operate forklifts and reach trucks to safely move incoming raw materials and finished products from receiving docks to assigned storage racks or designated staging areas.
JDE Receipt Processing:
  • Promptly enter received quantities into JDE to update inventory availability and support MRP demand.
Damage Reporting:
  • Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or missing items (QN/Discrepancy Reporting).
Training & Mentoring:
  • Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to Level 1 and Level 2 Warehouse Associates on: Safety protocols and operating procedures. Act as the primary point of contact during supervisor absence.
Inventory Movement and Control:
  • Materials and finished products movement, regular cycle counts, inventory discrepancies reconciliation, and root cause analysis and countermeasures to maintain accurate inventory records in WMS/ERP systems.
Shipping & Receiving:
  • Receive, inspect, and process high-value or hazardous materials; verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and enter data into company software.
Picking, Packing, Loading and all other functions associated with Outbound processes:
  • Serves as floating and backup coverage for above mentioned areas.
Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect items for defects and damages, ensuring compliance with OSHA, ISO, or GMP standards.
Process Improvement:
  • Recommend improvements for warehouse layout or workflows to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. Support optimization improvements.
KPI Tracking:
  • Assist leadership with operational reporting
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Equipment Certification: Valid forklift and/or pallet jack certification (required).
  • Technology: Proficient knowledge of warehouse data systems (e.g., JDE or other WMS software).
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership traits, peer respect, and strong communication skills.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and stand for long periods.
