Job summary

Innovative Chemical Products Group (ICP Group) in Andover, MA is hiring a Shipping Clerk for its manufacturing plant. The role covers the full shipping process, including scheduling pickups, dispatch paperwork, and coordination with production and customer service.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with office experience, forklift experience, and familiarity with a warehouse management system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some office experience.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience with WMS (warehouse management system).
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort outbound freight.
• Palletize and shrink wrap freight.
• Adhere address labels to freight.
• Attach SDS to freight.
• Verify Bill of Lading and Packing slip has correct product information.
• Schedule carriers to pick up.
• Confirm appointments at destinations.
• Notify supervisor of any product/label discrepancies.
• Communicate with appropriate department heads.
• Receive material in Syspro.
• Dispatching, shipping of small UPS packages, and computer work.
