Job summary

ICP Group is hiring a Shipping Clerk for our Andover, MA manufacturing plant. You will manage the full shipping process including scheduling LTL/TL pickups, dispatch paperwork, carrier labels, and real-time communication with production and customers.

We seek a detail-oriented team member with forklift experience and familiarity with WMS/Syspro. Monday–Friday, some Saturdays, 8:00am–4:30pm, with an hourly rate of $20.00–$22.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus some office experience or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts and using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort outbound freight and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Schedule carriers and verify bills of lading and packing slips.
• Dispatch paperwork, attach SDS, and ensure accurate product information.
• Communicate with production, scheduling, and customers to coordinate loads.
• Receive material in Syspro and manage non-stock materials (MROs).
• Operate computer systems and perform routine office tasks.

ICP Is looking to hire a Shipping Clerk for our Andover, MA manufacturing plant. The shipping clerk is responsible for the entire shipping process at ICP Industrial. This includes scheduling LTL & TL pickups, customer appointments, dispatch paperwork, package preparation & carrier labels, real time communication with production, scheduling, and customer service.

This position requires good computer skills, strong problem solving and a high-level of organization. This team coordinates the loading and unloading of trucks all over the USA of our products. It is a great opportunity to fine tune your skills in logistics.

Shift hours Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays) 8am to 4:30pm.Hourly pay $20.00 to $22.00, depending on exp.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort outbound freight.
• Palletize and shrink wrap freight.
• Adhere address labels to freight.
• Attach SDS to freight.
• Verify Bill of Lading and Packing slip has correct product information.
• Schedule carriers to pick up.
• Confirm appointments at destinations.
• Notify supervisor of any product/label discrepancies.
• Communicate, coordinate and work with appropriate department heads.
• Ability to communicate with others on a timely basis.
• Received material in Syspro.
• Services and non-stock materials receiving in Syspro (MROs)
• dispatching, shipping of small UPS packages, and computer work

Education, Experience and Skills Required

• High school diploma or GED with some office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience with WMS (warehouse management system).
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion with minimum instructions, adhere to prescribed routines and practices, maintain records, and to make reports requiring accuracy.
• Ability to work well with others, and to assist cooperatively and courteously.
• Skill in the application of modern office techniques and practices and the use and care of office machines and equipment.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to read and understand company policies, standard operating procedures and training materials.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable and change priorities and direction as needed.
• Must have a positive attitude towards work and have the ability to work as a member of a team.

• Compensation: 18.00 - $20.00/hr. Actual pay is dependent on candidates overall skills for the role.
