Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Grovetown, GA is hiring a Shipping Clerk to sort and organize completed prescriptions and prepare packages for shipment. This role supports our long-term care pharmacy operations with focus on accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.

You will use Pharmacy operating software, Dispatch and Routing software, and handheld scanners to capture bar code information. The team emphasizes quality, compliance, and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and collaborate with shipping/dispensing teams.
Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping.
Ability to develop continuous improvements in shipping workflows.
Ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company.
Ability to sort and distribute large volumes of medications accurately.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
Ability to work with little oversight and guidance.
Must be able to speak and write English.

Responsibilities

Sort and organize completed prescriptions.
Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch and Routing software.
Use handheld Scanner to capture barcode information.
Prepare packages for delivery: print packing lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route.
Perform other duties as assigned.
