Cardinal Staffing Services is currently hiring an experienced Shipping Clerk for a client in Napoleon, Ohio. The role focuses on managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with vendors and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior shipping/logistics experience, with proficiency in shipping software and basic MS Office. 2nd shift hours are 3PM–11PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Prior shipping or logistics experience preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organization are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickup and delivery, ensuring timeliness.
• Maintain records of shipments with tracking numbers, dates, and destinations.
• Communicate shipment updates to vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with warehouse to load/unload shipments smoothly.
• Inspect shipments for damages and coordinate resolutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
