What You’ll Be Doing

Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk ensures the accurate preparation, packaging, and documentation of outgoing shipments. The role may also involve assisting the manager in other warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package shipments according to standards
• Verify contents against shipping documents
• Generate shipping labels using shipping software
• Manage batch shipping data for FedEx and UPS
• Maintain shipping logs and data
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager for pickups
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
• Assist with incoming materials and other warehouse tasks
• Keep work area organized and safe

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to three years of related experience; shipping experience preferred
• Forklift certification is a plus
