Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform shipping duties and support logistics operations. The role requires a high school diploma, teamwork, good communication, ability to read blueprints, and the stamina to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to adapt to changing roles and priorities.
• Must be able to read blueprints and receiving documents.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25lbs., intermittently 40lbs., and up to 75lbs. with team assistance.
• Daily attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Package products for shipment to customers.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
• Operate table saw and various hand tools to make boxes and skids.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Keep work area clean and organized using the 5S+ Safety approach.
• Support and participate in LEAN activities.
• Inform supervisor of maintenance needs on all equipment.
• Follow all OSHA compliance regulations.
• Be an effective team member and perform other duties as required by supervision.

Your main responsibilities
