Job description

Our client, a dynamic logistics company, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team.

Location:

Saint Charles, MO

Pay Rate:

$16/hour

Hours:

7:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

1. Review and process order requests from the sales team using company software to ensure timely fulfillment.
2. Prepare items for shipment by securely packing, boxing, and palletizing according to company standards.
3. Transport and load palletized items for shipping, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
4. Perform routine inventory management tasks, such as updating product locations and maintaining organized storage areas.
5. Maintain physical stamina to stand or sit for an entire 8-hour shift as needed.

What's Needed?

1. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
2. Detail-oriented and able to follow specific order instructions.
3. Forklift certification is a plus.
4. Ability to load and unload trucks using a pallet jack.
5. Basic computer knowledge, including email and Teams for communication.
