Job summary

Brady Corporation, a global industrial technology leader, is seeking a Shipping Clerk in Pittsburgh to fulfill daily orders, coordinate carrier pickups, and ensure accuracy and quality of packed items. The role emphasizes adherence to procedures and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs; forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift and Scissor Lift Certifications preferred. Training and certification offered.
• Basic computer skills including email, Google Workspace, and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and push or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to walk and stand for at least 8 hours and reach, bend, squat, and kneel as required to retrieve product.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling orders by picking and packaging all requested items.
• Coordinating freight shipments by scheduling pick-ups and preparing goods to be shipped.
• Processing shipping documents including packing slips, commercial invoices, and Bill of Lading.
• Verifying and reviewing shipping instructions, regulations, and any other special instructions.
• Assisting with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Operating a forklift to safely move goods and materials.
• Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies by ordering supplies when needed.
• Review Production Schedule for system orders and schedule appropriately.
• Prepare and maintain international documentation as needed.
• Performing other duties as needed.
