Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Distribution Center Shipping Clerk in Phoenix, AZ to ensure timely packing and shipping of orders. You will read incoming orders, pick items from the floor, and package them securely for delivery while maintaining stock accuracy throughout the shift.

The role requires experience with RF scanners and ERP/WMS systems, plus strong organization and safety awareness to keep the warehouse efficient and compliant.

Qualifications

Distribution Center Shipping Clerk

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor or Designee

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary

The DC Shipping Clerk, is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

Primary Responsibilities

Pack, prepare and ship inventory to customers or storefronts. Read incoming orders, quickly and efficiently selecting items form warehouse shelves and adequately packaging those products for shipment. Will have an in-depth understanding of the warehouse layout and confirm stock inventory is accurate throughout entire shift. Perform basic quality assurance by inspecting goods and their containers for possible damage before packing them to be shipped. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Experience

• Minimum of one-year experience in a warehouse or distribution center


• Knowledge of distribution processes (shipping, receiving, and inventory control)


• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) scanners


• Ability to use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) systems. Knowledge of Epicor 10 a plus


• Familiar with warehouse safety regulations
