Job description

Essential Responsibilities

1. Pick items from inventory and ensure accuracy by verifying product codes, quantities, and descriptions.
2. Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping.
3. Utilize the company's ERP system to enter and retrieve shipping information.
4. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
5. Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and shipping manifests; maintain records of shipped items.
6. Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
7. Assist with receiving and inventory control tasks, including restocking shelves and conducting cycle counts.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Experience in a warehouse, shipping, or logistics role preferred.
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
5. Familiarity with Inventory Management software and ERP systems is desired.
6. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
7. HAZMAT certification is preferred.
8. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
