Job summary

FirstSpear, LLC in Missouri is seeking a Shipping Clerk responsible for picking, kitting, and preparing orders for shipping on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday.

You will stage items for large orders, pack completed shipments, generate packing slips, label cartons, palletize, and assist in inventory and safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required; prior shipping experience is preferred, and the role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

Job description

The primary responsibility of the Shipping Clerk is to perform functions related to picking, kitting, and preparing customer orders for shipping. This is a full‑time position working Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Essential Functions

• Pick customer orders
• Stage picked product for large orders, keeping product well organized while remaining items move through manufacturing
• Assist in kitting and other value-added functions
• Pack completed orders, label cartons as needed
• Generate packing slips and other shipping documents
• Palletize cartons, band and wrap pallets
• Assist in cycle counting and other inventory functions, as needed
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Required Competencies And Expectations

• Proficient computer, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and work well in a fast pace, team-oriented environment
• Detail oriented with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
• Able to frequently lift or move 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds, assisted
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop for extended period of time

Required Education And Experience

• Prior relevant work experience is highly preferred
