Responsibilities

• Create all required shipping documents for outbound loads (BOLs, pack lists, NAFTA/USMCA, Commercial invoices).
• Promptly ship all service orders and follow process to completion.
• Package outgoing orders (banding, wrapping, crating).
• Handle return shipments and documentation.
• Coordinate inbound freight with vendors and internal teams.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve issues during transit and communicate with couriers.
• Review freight invoices for billing accuracy and approval.

Compensation Range:$ 25.00We are looking for an organized shipping clerk to handle all the service order shipments – including ordered and fabricated parts to pack list specifications.When needed this person will assist the shipping coordinator in the responsibilities for arranging over dimensional and other contract-based shipments based on production schedule and customer demands. The shipping clerk is also responsible for tracking shipments.Also, when required this employee will need to assist in arranging inbound freight from Munter’s vendors.To be successful as a shipping clerk, one must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of parcel, LTL, TL, and international shipping practices. Excellent attention to detail. A great shipping clerk can successfully multitask several tasks at once. The shipping clerk should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. They should be able to assist in the prompt resolution of any issues and have strong negation skills. Excellent communication skills are a must.Create all required shipping documents for all outbound loads (BOLs, pack list, NAFTA/USMCA, Commercial Invoices, etc.)Promptly ship all service orders, following the process until completion.Package all outgoing service orders properly (banding, wrapping, shrink wrapping, crating, etc.)Handle all return shipments and documentation.Communicate all shipment tracking and follow up with the appropriate personnel.Resolve/report any issues during transit.Prepare shipping quotes for service personnel and/or customers.Handle all freight claims until resolved.Negotiate shipping fees with couriers.Prepare reports for management.Keep a meticulous record of shipment information.Computer literacy skills.Flexible work hours.Excellent time management skills.Ability to multitask.Ability to read a tape measure.Review freight invoices for billing accuracy and approval.Takes initiative and self-motivated.Back up for scheduling/arranging inbound freight.Other tasks as assigned by manager.Required Education:High school diploma or GED, college preferred.Job Qualifications:1-3 years in dispatch or traffic management experience.Training Requirements:Munters new employee orientation, quality assurance and safety awarenessHours of Work:Standard work schedule plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs.
