Responsibilities

• Process all picking of orders.

• Sort and file orders after processing.
• Track UPS, look up PRO numbers, and obtain PODs when needed.
• Process freight carriers and billing correctly.
• Verify freight bills.
• Print daily invoices.
• Run pre-post reports for accounting.
• Handle international paperwork for shipments.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Cross-train in other areas as time permits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for the release of daily sales orders to shipping, processing of billing, processing of UPS, printing of invoices, and posting.

Qualifications

1. The ability to do mathematical calculations and grammar skills usually acquired through 12th grade education.
2. Good telephone diplomacy.
3. A good attendance record and the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
4. Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing.
5. Knowledge of manufacturing environment specific to shipping and receiving procedures.
6. Must possess excellent computer skills.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities

1. Responsible for processing all picking of orders.
2. Printing of all shipping labels.
3. Billing of all orders that shipped.
4. Sorts and files all orders after process is complete.
5. Tracking of UPS and looking up PRO numbers for sales along with getting POD’s when needed.
6. Proper processing of all freight carriers and billing appropriately.
7. Verifies all freight bills.
8. Prints daily invoices.
9. Runs pre-post report for accounting department.
10. Handles all international paperwork needed for shipments.
11. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
12. Will cross-train in other areas as time permits.
13. Performs any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
