Job Description Summary/Objective
The Shipping Clerk performs all aspects of inventory management and oversees all shipping and receiving functions. This full-time position involves 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with possible overtime.
Essential Functions

- Perform inventory and special-order receiving functions, including checking parts and packing slips against purchase orders, checking for shipping damage, receiving items in EAM software, downloading goods receipts into teams, labeling, and placing parts in designated locations. Communicate receipt of special-order items to the requestor.
- Perform shipping functions including packaging repair parts and items for shipment, coordinating shipping including bill of ladings, inputting purchase requisitions, and logging repair parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory by managing parts issue checklists, performing physical spot counts, reconciling inventories, facilitating quarterly counts, and issuing parts from storeroom to work orders and cost centers in EAM.
- Input time and corrective actions to work orders and close them.
- Occasionally pick up and deliver purchase and repair parts.
- Organize inventory items logically, analyze obsolescence and duplicates, maintain a clean storeroom, and assist maintenance planner and purchasing manager as needed. Willingness and ability to train others are required. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma; college or secondary education preferred
- Experience with vendor or customer relations
- Experience organizing detailed numerical information using computers
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior inventory management experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
