Job summary

Sheridan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment warehouse team. You will be responsible for selecting economical shipping methods that meet customer needs and ensuring accurate labels, tickets, and destinations for all outgoing goods.

Responsibilities include quoting package rates, closing tickets with freight charges and totals, and providing daily shipment recaps. The role is full-time, on-site, with first-shift hours and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organization and PC skills; attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED.

Job Duties

Sheridan MN is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment warehouse team. In this role, you will be a key player, responsible for ensuring goods shipped are delivered in the most economical manner that meets the customers' needs.

What You'll Do

• Quote package charges – ensuring the best possible rate is obtained for the goods being shipped.
• Ensure proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping and all finished goods are shipped to the correct destination.
• Close job tickets by adding freight charges, materials and final shipping quantities.
• Provide recap of daily shipments.

Desired Skills And Abilities

• Technical school or college preferred.
• One-year Related Experience In Shipping/receiving Preferred.
• Knowledge in the UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping systems.

Schedule is Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week

Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week and Sundays.
