Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Austin, TX is hiring a Shipping Clerk responsible for sorting and organizing completed prescriptions and preparing products for shipment. You will work with pharmacy software, dispatch tools, and handheld scanners to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates can multi-task, follow written and oral instructions, and work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in a pharmacy or shipping environment is a plus; bilingual not required.

• Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping.
• Ability to develop continuous improvements in shipping processes.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch software.
• Use handheld scanner to capture barcode information.
• Prepare packages for delivery: print packing lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
