Responsibilities

• Process Domestic and International shipments using multiple shipping systems (BluJay, FedEx Café, UPS WorldShip, DHL Easy Ship)
• Create International Commercial Invoices and understand INCOTerms for various countries
• Be certified for Dangerous Goods shipping
• Complete end-of-day close, run reports, and secure the facility
• Document/Report incomplete or inaccurate orders to Customer Service
• Comply with safety policies and report safety issues to management
• Support ISO standards and assist other departments (picking/packing)
• Ensure client expectations are met in the shipping process
• Ensure quality methods are documented, utilized and enforced
• Support company directives and goals

Are you looking to work for one of the largest and trusted, family-owned marketing companies? Job Store Staffing is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a client in the Aurora. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be creating invoices, processing shipments in a computer system, and documenting all shipments and errors in the system. The shipping Clerk role is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Pay/Hours

• Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm
• $21 – 23/hr

Job Duties for the Shipping Clerk

• Ability to process Domestic and International shipments from any of shipping systems: Blujay, Fed Ex Café, UPS Worldship, DHL Easy Ship, or various manual airway bills.
• Knowledge of International Shipping Requirements – create International Commercial Invoices, knowledge of INCO terms and all international requirements by Country to include small packages as well as freight shipments.
• Ability to be certified for Dangerous Goods shipping.
• Complete end of day close to include closing all shipping systems, running reports and locking up facility.
• Documenting/Reporting all orders with incomplete/inaccurate information to appropriate Customer Service contact.
• Complying with all safety policies and reporting any safety issues immediately to a manager.
• Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to all ISO related standards.
• Willingness to work with other Departments such as order Picking and Order Packing.
• Assure client expectations are met in regards to the Shipping process.
• Assure all quality methods are documented, utilized and enforced.
• Supporting all company directives, objectives and goals.
