Job summary

Stryker is seeking a production team lead in Tempe, AZ, guiding a small line and coordinating day-to-day activities to meet schedules and targets. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a focus on quality, cost, waste reduction, and safe operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing leadership, a High School Diploma or GED, and may have SAP experience. The role emphasizes training, teamwork, continuous improvement, and adherence to standardized work.

  • 3+ yrs of experience in a Manufacturing leadership role or related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works on production line duties for majority of scheduled shift.
  • Manages time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of independent decision making.
  • Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results.
  • Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns.
  • Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team‑based, product‑focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement and 5S, participating in safety programs, and regularly providing ideas for process improvement or cost reduction
  • Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance team's performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.
