FloWorks International LLC is seeking a Shipping Associate to support the shipping and receiving dock in Jacksonville, FL. You will handle, pack, and route materials while maintaining accurate records and safe work areas to meet customer expectations.

The role requires forklift experience and a focus on safety, with responsibilities including unloading freight, packaging shipments, and using MS Office to communicate with vendors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• MRP/production control experience with SAP.
• Experience in warehouse operations and distribution programs.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including unloading and loading semi-trucks, UPS and FedEx trucks to and from designated storage areas.
• Package and prepare shipping boxes and containers.
• Hand-load and unload freight; operate forklift and manual lifting.
• Route material to the proper people and departments.
• Use Microsoft Office to track and communicate with internal teams, suppliers and vendors.
• Create and run reports as required.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety policies.
• This role requires self-driven individuals with strong customer service skills.

Job Information

The Shipping Associate supports the efficient operations of the shipping and receiving dock by handling, packaging, and routing materials and products. This role involves loading and unloading freight, maintaining accurate records using company systems, and ensuring work areas remain organized and safe. The Shipping Associate plays a key role in meeting customer needs through timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods while upholding FloWorks’ standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including Unloading and loading semi-trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pilematerials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets
• Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing shipping boxes and containers
• Hand- loading and unloading of freight. Manual and lift truck operation
• Routing material to the proper people and departments
• Use Microsoft Office, Excel, and additional software to track and communicate internally, to suppliers, and to vendors
• Create and run reports, as required
• Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification a plus.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Follows company safety policiesand procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
• This position requires self-driven individuals with strong customer service skills

• Material resource planning and/or production control experience with Systems Applications Processes (SAP)
• Experience in processes of warehouse operations and distribution programs.
• HS Diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility
• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction
• Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor

This role operates in a warehouse environment and standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers may be used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
