Job summary

TileBar is seeking an Outbound Associate for our Shipping department in Tolleson, AZ. The role ensures accurate and efficient shipment of products from the distribution center to customers.

You will verify orders, package and label items, and load shipments onto trucks while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, safe workspace. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and basic math skills are required.
• Previous experience with receiving functions including RF scanning preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders, package, label, and ship products.
• Load materials safely onto trucks and trailers for delivery.
• Update and track inventory levels to fulfill orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; dispose of packaging materials properly.
• Coordinate with suppliers and shipping companies to schedule deliveries.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and inventory counts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

A warehouse Outbound Associate is responsible for ensuring products are shipped efficiently and accurately from the distribution center to customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the verifying of orders, packaging, labeling, and shipment of products.
• Ensuring that all materials are loaded efficiently and safely onto the correct trucks and trailers, ready for delivery to customers.
• Updating and tracking inventory levels to ensure that stock is available to fill orders.
• Collaborating with other members of the warehouse team to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.
• Communicating with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues with shipments.
• Occasionally assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Previous experience with receiving functions including RF scanning preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, squatting most of the time.
• Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time.
• Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Seldom sitting or crawling.
