Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking a warehouse associate to unload, receive, sort, and prepare orders for delivery in a fast-paced, cold-storage environment. You will use an RF handheld device to scan and fulfill orders, build and transport pallets, and ensure timely readiness for our professional drivers.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work in refrigerated/freezer environment (0–36°F).
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Job OverviewAs a valued member of our dedicated warehouse team, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality, specialty food items to our customers. In this fast-paced and physically active environment, your day will be filled with tasks that keep our operation running smoothly and efficiently.You’ll be responsible for unloading incoming shipments, accurately receiving and sorting products, and preparing them for timely delivery. You’ll help organize, stage, and transport orders to ensure they’re ready for pickup by our professional delivery drivers. Every shift offers variety, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment as you help bring gourmet products from our shelves to our customers' doors.What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items away.Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders.View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets for delivery.Things you need to be able to do:Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.Ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 in. From the floor.Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and be able to work under minimal supervision.Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
