Shipping Associate / ASN Coordinator

8am-4pm Mon-Fri

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verbal and written communication to provide shipment updates and support to all internal departments.
• Scheduling client and vendor deliveries/pickups
• Fill out ASN forms and communicate shipment confirmations.
• Locate material for job shipments in the plant currently in progress, providing updates for Shipping.
• Keep accurate and up to date records.
• Type and create all shipping labels, Bill of Ladings, and packing labels.
• Pack out items for Fedex/UPS/drop-shipments.
• Ensure shipment’s BOL/Packing list/Job Bags are prepared
• Verify cartons are labeled correctly.
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Keep the shipping area neat and organized.
• Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Previous Shipping/warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of shipping and mailing procedures and requirements.
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
• Understanding of shipping via Courier/LTL/Fed Ex/UPS both domestic and international.
• Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
