Job summary

Volk Optical, Inc. is seeking a shipping and receiving associate to package, ship, and track products using cost‑effective methods. You will coordinate with carriers, load shipments, and ensure materials flow smoothly through the facility.

You will inspect incoming materials, distribute to departments, and manage returns, while complying with SOPs, QSRs, and regulatory requirements. The role requires familiarity with shipping vendors, basic ERP data entry, and safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with shipping vendors and requirements.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions such as Manufacturing Assembly Instructions, Quality Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to perform simple writing tasks such as recording log entries into an ERP system, lot numbers and dates.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities
