Job summary

Reyco Granning in Mount Vernon, MO seeks a hands-on manufacturing associate responsible for picking, packing, labeling, shipping of customer orders, and loading/unloading trucks. You will support the paint process, assemble small parts, and operate bushing presses as needed.

You must read blueprints, understand inventory control, follow written and verbal instructions, and have or obtain a forklift license. Daily 5S and TPM duties apply, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and follow written work instructions.
• Strong inventory control understanding and accuracy.
• Ability to operate basic inspection tools and gauges.
• Must be able to obtain a fork truck license.

• Computer literacy and data entry for daily records.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, palletize, label and ship customer orders.
• Load/unload trucks and assist in paint process and part assembly.
• Inspect parts using calipers, mics, torque wrenches and gauges.
• Complete TPM tasks and follow work instructions daily.
• Maintain data collection and perform 5S activities daily.
• Adhere to safety practices and quality standards.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for, picking, packing, palletizing, labeling, shipping of customer orders, loading/unloading trucks, support for paint process (loading/unloading, part labeling and inventory transactions, part inspection), assembly of small parts and operating bushing presses.

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools
• Handle parts as necessary to meet production standards.
• Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.
• Perform daily TPM
• Uses stop the line authority at any sign of safety or quality concerns
• Performs daily duties per work instructions / standard work
• Completes all daily data collection as established
• Must perform daily 5S activities

Qualifications / Training / Skill Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must have good understanding of inventory control
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license
• Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner
• Ability to understand what constitutes quality products
• Possess basic math skills
• Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall
• Must be computer literate

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

Experience Requirements

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures
