Job summary

Hendrickson in Dayton, OH is seeking workers for finishing and packaging bumpers in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs while performing polishing, wrapping, and packaging tasks on the production line.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of assembly experience preferred. Candidates should be able to pass a drug screen and comply with safety policies.

Job description

Responsible for finishing and packing bumpers.

Essential Functions

• Loads bumpers onto paint line.
• Unloads bumpers from paint line to finishing table.
• Polishes, wraps, and prepares bumpers for shipping.
• Box and band outgoing bumpers.
• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
• Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.
• Conduct required quality checks.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Must possess a high level of attention to details.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
• Must follow all safety practices and policies.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
• Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.
• Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Environmental Conditions

• Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Must wear appropriate PPE
