Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply is seeking a warehouse team member to support daily branch operations, focusing on order processing and timely product delivery. You will handle receiving, storing, shipping, and auditing to ensure accurate customer order fulfillment.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to identify products by code, with a preference for bilingual English/Spanish applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
• Fluent in English and Spanish a plus.

Job description

Supports the day to day operations of the Branch by providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping, auditing, and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative. Candidates offered employment must undergo a pre-employment drug test. The test screens for drugs including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines, following the cutoff levels set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. Physical Requirements: Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment Position spends a large amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing. Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
