Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Shipping Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for packing and shipping manufactured pieces, preparing labels, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.

You will weigh parcels, determine postage, enter data into shipping websites, and coordinate with customer portals to provide up-to-date shipping information. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and punctual, reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to navigate and enter data into shipping websites.

Responsibilities

• Packages assemblies and inspect wrapping, parts, and containers for conformance to company standards, customer requirements, shipping companies, and postal regulations.
• Weighs packages and determines postage and affixes postage stamps to packages.
• Prepares product and packages for shipping in conformity with company, customer, and government regulations, both domestic and internationally.
• Able to navigate and accurately enter data into various shipping websites for the generation of shipping labels.
• Able to navigate customer websites to provide up to date shipping data.
• Review questionable items with the company Technical Control Officer (TCO).
• Sorts parcels for shipment according to destination or other classification.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
