Job summary

BITZER US, located in Flowery Branch, GA, seeks a warehouse associate to pull, pack, and load material for customer orders. You will work with customer service and carriers to ensure timely, accurate order processing and shipping.

The role requires forklift proficiency, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety procedures. This full-time, nonexempt position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with on-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays to support emergency shipments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in sit-down and stand-up forklift.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack, and load material for customer orders.
• Work with customer service and carrier to ensure orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Utilize Macola software to locate material and confirm shipments.
• Pick, pack, label and load outgoing material.
• Prepare and sign off on shipping documents.
• Schedule shipments via phone, customer portal or carrier website.
• Operate Fed-Ex and UPS software to process shipments.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Assist with annual physical inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Reports To: Shipping Supervisor

Status: Full time, Nonexempt

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

This position does require you to be on call: nights, weekends, and Holiday’s for emergency shipments.

Duties & Tasks

• Work with customer service to ensure customer needs are met.
• Utilize Macola software to locate material and confirm shipments.
• Pick, pack, label and load outgoing material.
• Prepare and sign off on shipping documents.
• Schedule shipments via phone, customer portal or carrier web site.
• Utilize Fed-Ex and UPS software.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Work with the cycle count team to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with annual physical inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting, which may include exposure to loud noises, dust, and other environmental factors. The position may also require working in cold or hot temperatures. PPE of safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes are required at all times.

Physical Demands

• Required to sit, stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time. The position may also require bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
