Join TelyRx as a Shipping Associate and Deliver More Than a Package - Deliver Peace of Mind.
At TelyRx, every shipment matters because every package represents a patient counting on us. We're looking for a Shipping Associate who is passionate about accuracy, quality, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Every prescription a patient orders passes through your hands before it reaches their door. As a Shipping Associate you run the full line. Shipping outbound orders, with the accuracy and care that medication demands. Shipping is the smallest team in Operations and the last hands on the order, which makes it one of the most consequential: you are the final step in the production cycle, the one that decides whether the work of the whole pharmacy reaches the patient on time. This is fast, physical, detail-driven work in a regulated operation. You work to a clear standard, and you use good judgment to keep the line moving when volume swings.
This per diem opportunity is more than moving boxes - it's about making a meaningful impact. You'll join a collaborative team that values accountability, continuous improvement, and doing what's right for our patients every single day.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in quality, and want your work to make a real difference, we'd love to have you on the TelyRx team.
Location: On-site at our Clearwater, FL Headquarters Location

What you’ll own
- Every order you process, from packing to carrier handoff: correct contents, correct label, intact package, on time. What leaves your station is yours.
- The receiving line on inbound product: verified counts, packaging integrity, and a clean, documented handoff to the pharmacy, up to the point stock is placed into pharmacy inventory.
- Your station and the cold chain on every temperature-sensitive shipment.
What you’ll do
- Pack, ship, and label Rx, OTC, and prescription orders to SOP and carrier rules, generating shipping labels, end-of-day manifests, and bills of lading in the shipping system (ShipStation or equivalent), and closing the day’s manifest clean.
- Verify every outbound order before it ships: match the packing slip, medication, quantity, and patient address, and catch a mismatch, damage, or label error before it leaves the building.
- Receive and check in inbound product: count against the manifest, confirm packaging integrity, QC the receipt, resolve or elevate discrepancies, and hand off cleanly to the pharmacy for shelf placement.
- Build cold-chain pack-outs to the validated configuration, matching insulation and coolant to the product and the transit window so nothing arrives out of temperature.
- Operate the tools of the line safely, RF scanners, label printers, pallet jacks, dollies, and hand tools, holding scan compliance and chain of custody at every step.
- Coordinate carrier pickups and hand-offs across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and regional and courier partners, and serve as backup for direct-inject drop-offs at carrier hubs when needed.
- Work exceptions on the floor: address corrections, reroutes, return-to-sender, and service-level upgrades, monitoring the Shipping and CXP queues to keep orders moving.
- Run inventory cycle counts and keep packaging and shipping supplies stocked, flagging low levels before they stop the line.
- Hold productivity at the daily standard, roughly 250 to 300 shipments per day adjusted to volume, with accuracy first, and flex to help the team clear peaks.
- Keep your area clean, organized, audit-ready, and safe, and protect patient privacy and HIPAA at all times.
How success is measured
The numbers here are a shared, visible picture of how the work is going, and they are tied to how we recognize good work, not a stick to swing. You always know where you stand.
FIRST 90 DAYS
- Independent at station to SOP across pick, pack, ship, and receiving, with no critical accuracy or compliance miss.
- Receiving handled end to end, with a clean handoff to the pharmacy.
- Output at or near the daily standard, accuracy first.
THE NUMBERS THAT MATTER
- Yours to own. Order accuracy at your station, output per labor hour against the daily standard, scan and SOP adherence, cold-chain integrity, and reliability.
- You contribute to. Your site’s on-time dispatch and accuracy, and the network’s service levels. You are the final step, so your work moves these every day.
- The rhythm. Your scorecard is part of the daily huddle, so the team works from the same numbers and knows what to adjust before it becomes a problem.
What you bring
MUST-HAVES
- Reliability, urgency, and real care for getting the details right.
- Comfort working to an SOP while using judgment to keep the line moving.
- Able to lift up to ~50 lbs, stand and move for full shifts, and work on-site, including every other weekend, holidays, and extended hours as volume demands.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Prior fulfillment, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or pharmacy-adjacent experience.
- Familiarity with multi-carrier shipping software (ShipStation, EasyPost, or similar).
- Willingness to be flexible with work schedule to accommodate our expanding operating hours.
- Ability to commit to EOW (every other weekend) for scheduling and business operation needs.
- Ability to drop off shipments to our USPS location/ direct carrier stations directly and serving as primary backup to our Shipping Leads.
Available Shifts: Weekend and afternoon availability required. Weekdays: 5PM-10PM or 6PM-10PM. Weekends: 8am-8pm availability. Approximately 8-25 hours varying per week depending on business needs.
How we grow you
There is a real path from this seat to shipping lead. Show the work and the standard, and we will invest in you.
This role is also changing, and that is a good thing. As we add automation and robotics, the repetitive lifting moves to machines and the work moves up, toward quality, receiving judgment, and problem-solving. We are building the skills paths that come with that, in pharmacy, robotics, and systems, so the people here grow with the operation rather than around it.
How we work
On-site, as one team, in a regulated operation where the standard keeps patients safe. Run to the standard and use judgment to flex within it when volume moves.
The Tely 5 are how we work, at every level. They are a loop, not a checklist:
- Own it. Take the outcome as yours, including the parts that fall between functions.
- Get it right. Protect patient trust with accuracy, compliance, and clinical integrity.
- Read the signal. Let the data, not the gut, tell you what is happening.
- Make it better. Leave the work better than you found it, and build it once.
- Grow it. Grow the business and the people, off heroics and onto systems.
Patient at the center. Run as one team.
At this level, that means owning every order you touch, working the standard while solving the small problems yourself, protecting the cold chain and the patient’s privacy, and being someone the team can count on when the floor gets heavy.
