Job summary

Charcuterie Artisans in Burrillville, RI, is seeking a Shipping Associate to handle, package, and ship finished goods and materials in a USDA-inspected facility. You will ensure timely movement of products, follow safety standards, and maintain clean, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include labeling, scanning, pallet weighing, and documenting for BOLs while using basic PC systems. Forklift experience is a plus; the role requires standing in a cold environment and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:15am-2:45pm, occasional Saturdays as needed

The Shipping Associate is responsible for handling, packaging, and shipping finished goods and materials in a USDA-inspected food manufacturing facility. This role ensures timely and accurate movement of products while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Print labels
• Label boxes
• Scan boxes into system
• Weigh finished pallets and document for BOL's
• Handle and move packaged goods safely and efficiently.
• Build and ship sample and customer orders according to specifications.
• Perform general cleaning andmaintaina sanitary work environment.
• Receive and ship products using proper handling techniques and computer entry systems.
• Maintainaccurateshipping and receiving documentation.
• Operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks); forklift experience is a plus.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); inventory experience is a plus.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (45-55°F) for the entire shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, andlift upto 50lbsthroughout the shift.
• Knowledge of product safety and food handling standards preferred.

Education and Experience:

Working Conditions:
