Job summary

Pan-Oston Company in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Shipping Associate to handle picking, receiving, loading and unloading materials, maintain accurate inventory counts, operate forklifts and scissor lifts, and prepare shipping documentation in the ERP system.

You will coordinate with other departments to fulfill inventory and shipping needs, process requests and supply orders, pack shipments securely, and arrange deliveries with carriers.

Qualifications

• Mathematical skills to accurately record counts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to discuss priorities and troubleshoot problems.
• Forklift license to load and unload material.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing 30 pounds or more.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Full body motion required during work.

Responsibilities

Position

Shipping Associate

Responsibilities

• Picking, receiving, loading, unloading and stocking of material
• Maintaining accurate inventory counts
• Operating forklift and scissor lifts
• Preparing and keeping records of all shipping documentation, including entry into ERP system
• Coordinating with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling material and packaging per order requirement
• Packing and shipping items securely and effectively to minimize damage
• Installing store‑specific lock components into customer shipments, as requested
• Coordinating deliveries to customers through communication with shipping companies and the customer directly, as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned
