Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and provide guidance and training to shipping team members.
- Prioritize shipments based on customer requirements, deadlines, and production flow.
- Load trucks, vans, and containers with minimal supervision.
- Maintain accurate shipping records in ERP or other shipping systems.
- Verify correct quantities and documentation for all outgoing shipments, including photographic records.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, and documentation issues promptly.
- Mark and label products with proper identification and destination.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with supervisors and leads to improve shipping methods and reduce load times.
- Maintain proper care and conduct minor maintenance of shipping and loading equipment.
- Assist in training coworkers on shipping techniques, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Complete production reports and other required documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or better.
- 1‑3 years of experience in industrial shipping processes, including operational knowledge of forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
