Kenworth Sales Company in Jerome, Idaho is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Clerk to coordinate and process shipping and receiving of all freight materials incoming and outgoing while maintaining the warehouse.

Kenworth Sales Co. is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Clerk to join our Jerome, ID team.
Salary Minimum and Maximum: $20-$22 Depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of the Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Clerk is to coordinate and process shipping and receiving of all freight material incoming and outgoing and maintaining the warehouse.
Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain purchase order files and receive all purchased items.
• Unpack and check all materials for damage and correct quantity.
• Package and ship material as specified on authorized shipping documents, i.e. invoices, and return merchandise request, etc.
• Maintain warehouse to include stocking parts and general housekeeping.
• Maintain bill of lading and freight bill files.
• Other Duties as assigned by supervisor
  

QualificationsAbility to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Shipping: knowledge of bills of lading and freight bills, and shipping and receiving rates. Packaging Skills: knowledge of how materials should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage. Excellent organization, written, and communication skill s. Ability to operate warehouse forklift and complete formal training program.
Working ConditionsThis position involves both sedentary and other work. For part of the shift, employee will work at a desk in a warehouse setting doing paperwork, telephoning, and filing. For part of the shift, employee will stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach, moving about the dealership facility to communicate with managers, employees, and customers. Lifting of at least 50 lbs. without assistance on a daily basis, as well as heavier loads with forklifts and/or additional assistance will be required. Will be exposed to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
