Lighting New York in Selinsgrove, PA is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Warehouse and Facilities Team Member to handle unloading/loading, inventory control, and general warehouse tasks.

You will also assist with weekly facility maintenance, cleaning, and coordination of shipments, while following safety guidelines and company procedures. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with benefits including PTO, holidays, and health insurance.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and safety rules.
• Willingness to adapt with a positive attitude.
• Experience with FedEx or UPS tools preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Hand select items using pick-lists from multi-level rack storage to fulfill orders.
• Process customer returns according to company guidelines.
• Ensure returned product is returned to vendor or to stock per guidelines.
• Prepare orders for shipment per guidelines and shipping regulations for domestic and international shipping.
• Operate equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
• Assist in maintaining inventory counts and communicate discrepancies.
• General building maintenance and weekly cleaning of common areas and office spaces.

We operate a small warehouse in Selinsgrove, PA and we are looking for someone to handle the unloading/loading of trucks, inventory management, and general warehouse activities. In addition, this role will assist in weekly facility maintenance and cleaning, which will include cleaning the common areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and general office area.

Responsibilities

• Hand select items using pick-lists from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems to fulfill customer orders.
• Process customer returns according to company guidelines.
• Ensure returned product is either returned to vendor or returned to stock following company guidelines.
• Prepare the order to be shipped as per company guidelines and shipping regulations for domestic and international shipping/packaging.
• Operate various equipment to include hand trucks, pallet jacks etc. in a safe manner and within company guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory counts and communicating with management when discrepancies arise.
• General building maintenance, including trash removal, recycling, etc.
• Weekly cleaning of common areas and office work area, including Bathrooms, Kitchen, and conference rooms.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• 1-2 years of related warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Adaptable with a willingness to embrace change with a positive attitude.
• Experience using FedEx and/or UPS tools preferred, but not required.
• Self Motivated. This is a 1-person operation and will spend some time with limited interaction with other team members in the office.

Schedule & Benefits

• The position is full-time: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
• Other Benefits include 2 weeks of paid time off + 1 week of sick time, and paid holidays. Health, dental, vision, and Life insurance.
