Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions in Dallas, NC seeks a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor for the 2nd shift. The role includes training new team members, supervising daily operations, and coaching staff to meet production targets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in goods transport and 3–5 years in supervision, with the ability to work 10–12 hour shifts. Benefits start day one; quarterly safety and monthly performance bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in the transportation of goods; glass experience preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience managing.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour shifts Mon-Fri; Friday nights are heavy.
• Ability to work in heat and cold.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Axapta, Geotab and routing tools.
• CDL license preferred.

What will you be doing:

• Oversee and conduct training for new team members
• Must be able to multi-task, be organized, efficient, accurate and be accountable to job responsibilities
• Provide feedback and development of your team
• Ability to mentor and coach employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
• Handle ever changing business environments and departmental need changes
• Maintain interdepartmental, general business and customer communication and confidentiality
• Performs supervision duties in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance appraisals performance; recognition, rewarding and disciplining employees.
• Partners with leadership team and human resources to address complaints and resolve problems.

Skills You Bring:

• Five years' experience in the transportation of goods and material. Glass experience preferred.
• Three to five years' experience managing.
• Ability to work 10--12-hour shifts on your feet M-F. Friday nights are usually the heaviest work nights around 12 hours.
• Ability to work in the heat and cold.
• Experience in Microsoft Office, Axapta, Geotab Fleet Management System, Routing software/tools.
• CDL license preferred.
