Qualifications

  • Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Review reports, analyze data, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve operational, inventory, quality, and customer service issues.
  • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing and operational excellence programs.
  • Conduct safety audits and promote a culture of workplace safety.
  • Assist with departmental budget planning, goal setting, and performance tracking.
  • Respond effectively to changing business demands and operational challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead daily logistics, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong experience managing teams in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, 6S, or similar methodologies.

  • Strong employee development and team-building experience.

  • Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements, productivity gains, and cost reductions.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
