Clean Harbors in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead daily shipping and receiving operations and oversee inventory accuracy. You will coordinate with Logistics, Lab, Operations, Order Entry, Maintenance, and other teams while providing leadership to the shipping and receiving staff.

The role requires 2 years of college education or specialized training, plus 1–2 years of related experience and strong organizational and communication skills.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related operational environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and oversee daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Coordinate departmental activities with Logistics, Lab, Operations, Order Entry, Maintenance, and other internal teams.
• Review, maintain, and update inventory within appropriate systems and databases.
• Maintain consumable inventory.
• Monitor facility and departmental performance and provide assistance where needed.
• Perform Facility Security Officer duties, including planning, training, drills, and reporting.
• Purchase departmental supplies and services as needed.
• Maintain departmental compliance with ISO requirements.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary activities for department personnel.
• Coordinate and provide training to department employees.
• Maintain and support applicable facility and departmental permits.
• Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

This position is responsible for overseeing the facility’s shipping and receiving operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating departmental activities, and ensuring appropriate staffing to support daily operations.
